Our Five Favorite Cookout Recipes 1

Summer is a time for lots of outdoor cooking. Whether it is a family gathering or just a casual dinner party with the neighbors, summer cookouts are always the best!

When planning for a summer cookout party, we always love to feature our snacks in new and creative ways. Over the years, we have developed lots of sweet and savory recipes that are perfect for any outdoor occasion. Almost all of them can be made ahead of time and they all travel well.

We love bringing a vegan, vegetarian and/or a gluten-free dish to the event because we want to make sure everyone has something hearty to eat.

Here are our five favorite cookout recipes:

JAMAICAN JERK LETTUCE WRAPS

Lettuce wraps are the perfect alternative to a carb-heavy taco. Done right and they can provide a savory, satisfying sensation associated with its comforting counterpart. We used grilled tempeh in this recipe for its meaty, vegan, protein-packed flavor, but you can substitute any protein.
